Alan Tillinghast is the Chief Executive Officer at Cantata Health Solutions where he is leading the company’s rapid growth as a provider of behavioral health and human services software. Prior to joining Cantata, Alan served as the Chief Strategy and Information Officer for Samaritan Daytop Village, one of New York’s largest health and human services providers. During his seven-year tenure, Alan played a pivotal role in driving the organization’s growth through the strategic use of technology. Alan also held a variety of senior executive positions at Netsmart Technologies for over twenty years, where he spearheaded the transformation of the company’s products, implementation, and support methods, leading to substantial organizational growth.

Having served in senior leadership roles on both sides of the table, Alan brings a unique perspective to the challenges provider organizations face when it comes to implementing – and adopting – new technology to improve both patient care and process efficiency. Alan holds an M.B.A. in Information Systems and a B.S. in Healthcare Administration from Iona University in New Rochelle, New York.
